Sarah Bonnell School & Atherton Leisure Centre (E15)
Our Stratford Ballet and Performing Arts schools offer high-quality classes for children aged 2–14, including Baby Ballet, Kids Ballet, Modern Dance, and Performing Arts (a fun mix of singing, dancing, and acting). Each class is designed to build confidence, creativity, and a love of movement, while developing posture, coordination, flexibility, and performance skills.
We keep class sizes small so that every child benefits from individual attention and the guidance of our experienced professional teachers. Students also have the opportunity to take IDTA-accredited dance exams and LAMDA Musical Theatre exams, both recognised globally and valuable for a child’s portfolio, including potential UCAS points.
For our youngest dancers, Tippie Toes classes welcome toddlers from as little as 2 years old, introducing them to music and movement in a fun, interactive environment where parents can join in and dance together. Watch our Baby Ballet class on YouTube
Our Stratford schools are conveniently located at Sarah Bonnell School and Atherton Leisure Centre (E15), making them easily accessible for families in Stratford, Newham, West Ham, Forest Gate, Bow, and the surrounding areas.

Travel Tips :
- By BUS – The 86 and 25 run from Ilford through to Romford Road. The 241, 262, and 69 run from Plaistow to Stratford Station. The 257 runs from Leytonstone High Road to Stratford Station.
- By TUBE or TRAIN – Stratford Station is a 10 minute walk. Enter the Shopping Mall opposite the station and walk straight across. On exiting the Shopping Mall you are on Broadway. Turn left and keep walking until you see Morrisons supermarket. Cross the road and as you walk through the supermarket car park you will see the school building. Exit the car park via the entrance on the right hand side and you are on Deanery Rd
- Parking is available on schools premises
- When you arrive, please report to the Front Office at the main entrance in Deanery Road.

- By Tube or Train – Stratford Station is a 16 minute walk. Maryland Train station is a 12 min walk. Forest Gate Train station is a 14 min walk.
